Fruitification of Results

Fruitification refers to the actual materialisation of a promised event. In KP, a house promise can exist (cusp sub lord confirms it) yet the event will only occur in a specific Dasha–Bhukti–Antara period when the right significator planets are operating.

The KP framework for fruitification has three stages: the Dasha (major period) sets the broad theme, the Bhukti (sub-period) narrows the field, and the Antara (sub-sub-period) provides the final trigger.

The Three-Layer Timing Chain

Dasha Lord (Major Period)

The dasha lord must be a significator of the relevant houses. It activates the broad theme (e.g., career matters during a 10th-house-connected dasha lord's period).

Bhukti Lord (Sub-Period)

The bhukti lord must also be a significator of the relevant houses. It defines the specific type of result within the broad theme.

Antara Lord (Sub-Sub-Period)

The antara lord triggers the precise event on a specific date range — usually within a few weeks. It must also signify the relevant houses.

Rules for Selecting the Fruitifying Period

  1. Compile a list of significators for all relevant houses (e.g., for job: houses 2, 6, 10, 11).
  2. Among these significators, identify which matches the currently running Dasha lord. If the dasha lord is a significator, start there; otherwise look at the next dasha.
  3. Within that dasha, find the bhukti lord that is also a significator. This bhukti is the likely period of the event.
  4. Within the bhukti, find the antara lord that is a significator and also a Ruling Planet at the time of judgment.
  5. The final day is identified when the transiting Moon passes through the star of a significator or a relevant Ruling Planet on a day whose day lord matches the RP list.

Why the Same Dasha Can Give Different Results

Two people can run the same planet's dasha (e.g., Saturn dasha) and get completely different outcomes. In KP, this is explained by the star lord and sub lord:

  • Saturn as dasha lord gives the results of its star lord's house connections — not Saturn's own house tenure.
  • The sub lord of Saturn in the natal chart determines the polarity of those results: beneficial, mixed, or adverse.
  • For Person A: Saturn in Pushya (star lord = Saturn, 10th house lord in a career chart) → career advancement. For Person B: Saturn in Magha (star lord = Ketu, 8th lord) → obstacles and delays.
